After school program volunteer: “next week we have a special visitor coming to help. He’s a professional grandfather.”

After school program kids: “did he ever went to jail?!”

Aspv: “uh huh, no.”

Aspk: “oh good!”

i got a kindle fire, and now all I do is read comics.

So far I’ve read:

• Most of Tony Millionaire’s “Sock Monkey Series”
• “Billy Hazelnuts” - Tony Millionaire
• “The Dark Knight Returns” - Miller/Moore
• “The Dark Knight Strikes Again” - Miller/Varley (which sucks)

And I just got

• “Kingdom Come” - Ross/Waid
• “Superman: Red Son” - Millar (not Miller)
• “Batman: The Darkest Knight” - Barr/Bingham
• “Batman: Year One” - Miller/Mazzucchelli
• “Sin City” Series - Miller
• “The Book of Genesis” - R. Crumb

Until that list, and more are read and done with, I won’t be visiting tumblr for a while…

So lately our entire country (whether it’s facebook, tumblr, real life, tv, movies, or anything in between) seems to be swinging one way or the other on the liberal/conservative spectrum.

Pro-gun/Anti-gun, pro-life/pro-choice, hetro-rights/homo-rights. Nothing is life is black OR white. Nothing is clean cut. Nothing can be right or wrong. Instead we need to be reminded of the balance that lays in the way the world around us works.

We all just need to mind out own business and let each other live how we wish to live. Stop telling me to have guns, or to get rid of guns. Stop telling me to accept homosexuals, or refute them. I don’t give a fuck who you want to have sex with. It doesn’t bother me knowing that someone somewhere might want to try it in the butt. I don’t care if you own an assault rifle, however, i do care that you know how to use it properly, and that I won’t be in danger with you owning it.

Republicans aren’t right. Democrats aren’t either. We all just need to focus on our own lives and what we need to do to make our world a better place for our children.
